Deep beneath the icy waters of Uyak Bay, on the northwest coast of Kodiak Island, Alaska lays a 375-foot-long passenger steamship that sunk on May 26, 1929. Lost for more than 70 years, the S.S. ALEUTIAN was the pride of the Alaska Steamship Company fleet until a chance encounter with a hidden pinnacle of rock sent her to the bottom.

Built in 1929, the S.S. Aleutian is 375 feet long and 50 feet wide

Today, the wreck of the palatial steamer ALEUTIAN provides experienced divers with an incredible opportunity to explore an intact and virtually untouched passenger liner in a setting of unmatched tranquility and rugged natural beauty.
